Abstract
Urinary tract infections (UTIs) is a common site of infection in humans as the second most common infection in humans after the respiratory tract that are, affecting 150 million people each year, afflicting also more than half of all women. Worldwide, UTI are the frequent cause of morbidity in outpatients as well as the most frequently diagnosed in the cause of nosocomial infection in many hospitals. The presence and growth of microorganisms anywhere in the urinary tract is perhaps the single commonest infection of UTIs. A serious ailment of UTI increasing frequency in people due to relapse and difficulty in eradication; it grandstand stiff challenge to the medical professionals. It is much more common in women than in men, due to anatomical and physiological reasons; by virtue of its position, urogenital tract is more vulnerable to bacterial infections caused by both internal and external flora
